timemanagement 270x300 MLM Success, Key Tips to Proper Time Scheduling

One of the keys to being consistently productive and effectively running a business is organization and the ability to schedule time properly if you want to have MLM Success. We all like to think of ourselves as organized, but in reality, is this the truth?

Have you ever found that in spite of your best intentions, you just couldn’t accomplish everything you set out to do in a given day or week? Is it because you’re trying to cram too many things into your days and weeks, or is it because you just need to work on your organization and time management skills? Do you find that you plan a schedule, and then get distracted with so many other things that you can’t finish your work?

Regardless of the reason, it’s vital to get organized! You’re not going to experience MLM success until you can get your time organized. Once you manage this, you will be able to see what areas you need help in and which areas you can maximize.

Even though some of us think that having to be organized stifles creativity, it really makes it much easier to be creative – you’re freer to create the business and life you want (sounds like fun when I put it that way, doesn’t it?).

So let’s talk about time scheduling. First you need some tools. They don’t have to be elaborate or fancy, so don’t worry. You need a calendar (one with space to write things down) and a diary or journal. Once you have the tools you’ll use, you need to commit yourself to truly making use of them. This is how you’re going to begin to get organized and then stay organized and create MLM success.

The first key step to learning to properly schedule your time is to see how you’re using your time right now. This is where you will use your diary or journal. For a week, don’t change your schedule. Just keep very close track of what you do with your time. Record what you’re doing in some detail, how you’re feeling (tired, restless, alert, etc), and write down the time you start each new activity – even if it’s just taking a few minutes to chat on the phone with a friend.

After one week, look at your journal. What can you learn from it? That you are spending a lot of time chatting or day dreaming? Maybe you’re spending a lot of time doing things that should be eliminated from your workday. You might be surprised to see how much time you spend on Facebook or checking email.

Look closely to find areas where there is waste. You don’t have to check your email ten times a day! You can easily reduce that amount to three times. And you don’t have to answer every phone call that comes in – in fact, if you’re working, you should eliminate the distraction of the phone – that’s what voice mail is for. Schedule time each day to return calls – and then limit the amount of time you’re on each call if you can!

Next, look at the work tasks that you need to accomplish each day and throughout the week. Make sure to include time for emails and communicating with downline members and potential recruits, along with social networking, marketing activities, etc. Keep in mind that you also need to have time for your personal life, and your “day” job, if you’re still working outside of the home. Oh, and don’t forget that you have to sleep at some point!

The main point is to create to-do lists and prioritize them. Certain things will have to take place at certain times. They can fit into your schedule without any more analysis if you’ve deemed them necessary. Now look at what is left. Remember~Large tasks can be broken down into smaller ones – this will help you keep from getting overwhelmed.

So its time to schedule your work time, yes this is were it gets interesting! In the first key step, you made notes in your journal of what times of the day you were feeling more alert and energized. Schedule these times first to fit those tasks that may require a little more work. Another thing you can do is make some adjustments to your dietary habits to create more energy during those times of the day that you noted in your journal that you were feeling less energized.

As you start building your schedule, keep the following in mind:

  • Stay realistic – you only have so much time each day.
  • Make sure the things that you absolutely must do are scheduled and that you’ve left enough time to complete them.
  • Don’t over-commit yourself.
  • Remember to expect the unexpected – leave some contingency time in your schedule for surprises.

OK so now that you’ve built your schedule, do two things: remember that a schedule is fluid – it’s going to move and change, and remember that you can always go back to basics if you need to – it won’t hurt to use your diary to track your habits occasionally to make sure you’re staying organized and experiencing the MLM Success you are working so hard to achieve.

Another Great Message I wanted to share with you all from the Great Joe Schroeder!

Always remember the “code” in life.

I AM + BE + THINK + Sow + Big House.

The world will tell you different. Society
is all about get, grab, earn and struggle.

Prove it to yourself. Pick up a newspaper
or speak to anyone any a.m. as they java
their weakened bodies as they car pool
together into more of the same.

They teach:

School + hard work + Make Goals + watch yur P’s and Q’s = 401K

They take from their boss and only return a little.

They take from each other and remove POTENTIAL
from each other with words like “no way” and “won’t work.”

They take, take, take, from themselves and from
each other. The REMOVE vision from each other
with words like “it’s a scam, won’t work” and
you will never be a Millionaire.

The world will meet you at the energy you beleive in.

What you tell other people they can NOT have, the
world listens and delivers your words back to you ‘
in the form of never enough, struggle and fear.

I AM + BE + THINK + SOW = Big Hat.

The world gives to the giver and takes from the taker.

You can not TAKE a breath without GIVING one away.

You can not share happiness without also
growing a smile on someone else’s smile.

You can not be rich without first adding to other people.

Begin with I AM. Begin by speaking VICTORY
into yourself. Because all that you say you
are is all that you will ever believe in enough
to demonstrate to other people.

BELIEVE to see

If you wait to “see it” before you belive it
you will never see it because you can not
pursue or have, what you first could not see.

The world teaches WORK HARD.

Great. How many hard working construction workers
do you know who live in MANSIONS.

The world teaches GET a GOOD JOB!

Thata’s funny. Ben Franklin and Oprah never
had a job. They created their own work
and lived to prove that whatever energy you
believe in is the energy that will pay you.

OPRAH doesn’t work hard, in fact I bet
she works less than most people.

Why?

Because the world doesn’t pay you for what you
know, the world pays you for the work
you can do and pays you even MORE if you
can be wise enough to delegate your work to OTHER people.

That’s how the rich get richer.

They get other people to work their better.

They get other people to assemble what they THINK about.

That’s what HENRY FORD did.

What energy do you believe in?

Work? Over-time? Struggle? Ease? Influence?

Tick.

Tick.

Tick.

Game almost over.

Sun down is coming.

THINK QUICK because life teaches you to think
and THINKING teaches you how to better live.

To Your Success,

I JUST SMASHED MY TV…

That’s right! Turn it off, throw it out your window, smash it with a hammer, set it on fire, just get rid of it!

Your television may be one of the biggest time wasters in your life, and your life is far too valuable to waste watching silly, insane programs that bring little or no value into your life and keep you from getting work done, or playing with your kids, or getting exercise, or doing other productive things.

Don’t get me wrong, while there are some very worthwhile programs that are presented on TV such as award winning educational shows, shows about history and science and even some programs that are light-hearted and entertaining enough to leave us feeling uplifted, there are many, many shows that are just a waste of time. That’s time that you could spend working on building your MLM business, or doing other things that are fulfilling and important.

WAIT…Stop and think about the amount of time you spend each day and each week watching TV… CRAZY I know!! Typically when we watch TV, we aren’t doing much else. It’s too distracting to work on business.

But isn’t sitting around the TV with family and friends count for spending quality time? ABSOLUTELY NOT!! Sitting in front of the TV, eyes fixed on the screen, energy focused on the show that you’re watching doesn’t allow for anything that could rightly be described as quality time. Instead, you could be outside playing a game with your children, or learning a new hobby with a friend, or going for a jog together (spending time together and getting in shape!).

Did you know that TV takes some vital things away from you besides time for working on your business and spending quality time with family and friends? It takes away time that you could be spending on healthy things like going to the gym or going for a bike ride (fresh air and sunshine!). Some people find that sitting in front of the television contributes to weight gain (less exercise and more temptation to snack while watching). Talk about wallowing in a life void of success!

Last I checked.. the treadmills at the gym had pretty decent TV’s installed on them!!

Plus – television watching has been found to affect your brain. Studies have shown that TV watching leads your higher brain centers to shut down. These are the areas that involve critical thinking. Other studies have shown that reading and listening to music stimulates your brain because doing these things actually forces your brain to use it’s creativity to visualize what’s going on, so they are better activities.

Here are some hints that can help you watch less TV, leaving you more time (and brain power) for other interests and for your business:

• See if you can go without television for a whole week. This will help you reframe your thinking about the importance of TV watching. Try it… and no recording your favorite shows!

• Make a list of the shows that are important to you and that you especially like. List them in order of priority.

• Create a TV watching schedule that allows you to watch TV for a maximum of one hour per day. (watch it while you are at the gym running or walking for an hour)

• Find other things to do – start an exercise program, play games with your kids, start a new hobby, go on a date, work on your MLM marketing plan, write articles, work on your MLM social networking – you get the idea.

You really don’t have to get rid of your TV. But do put it in it’s place. Part of being successful in MLM and life is getting your priorities straight.

TV isn’t a priority.
YOUR Business is!

To Your Success,

TODAY’S WISDOM SEED

From the GREAT Joe Schroeder

Okay, so WHO am I?

Let me give you some clues. Exactly WHO IS ME?

I am your constant companion.

I am your greatest helper or heaviest burden.

I will push you onward or drag you down to
failure.

I am completely at your command.

Half of the things you do you might as well turn
over to me and I will do them – quickly and
correctly.

I am easily managed – you must be firm with me.
Show me exactly how you want something done
and after a few lessons, I will do it automatically.

I am the servant of great people,
and alas, of all failures as well.

I MAKE GREAT PEOPLE—-That is a CLUE.

Those who are great, I have made great.

Those who are failures, I have made failures.

I am not a machine though, however . . .

I work with the precision of a machine
plus the intelligence of a person.

You may run me for profit or run me for ruin -
it makes no difference to me.

Take me, train me, be firm with me, and
I will place the world at your feet.

Be easy with me and I will destroy you.

Who am I?

I am HABIT.

To Your Success,

STOP…… NEVER GIVE UP!!

never ever ever give up magnet p147206153397013768qjy4 400 150x150 STOP...... NEVER GIVE UP!!

There were many times that I myself wanted to quit…. Throw in the towel and run!! And I did, but for some reason I was always led back to the same place, but having to start all over.

Sometimes things don’t always go as planned, and no matter how consistent you are with your plan we come across obstacles. Those obstacles where placed there to only make us stronger.

So I was reading, doing my research in my Leadershipclub training material and I came across this article, “What to Do When You Feel Like Quitting”! It hit home, because just a few weeks ago, I felt like quitting and I knew if I did then I’d be letting my whole downline and everyone around me down. So I kept searching and soaking up all that I could until I found a place that I felt was going to help me and give me a push on the road to success.  These tips truly worked for me and I wanted to share them with the rest of you. I know we are always told consistency is the key and keep taking ACTION, however sometimes you just need to sit back and take a deep breath.

Try a few of these wonderful tips when that day comes that you just feel like throwing in the towel….

1. Take a break. Take a weekend or a week off from your business or project to think about what you’re doing. Often just some absence from the work, especially if you’ve been chipping away at it every day for a long time, is enlightening. You can gain just enough perspective to evaluate what’s truly going on.

2. Take a spiritual retreat. In the spirit of all the great religious seekers who ever wandered a desert, take a day, weekend, week or even more time if you can to tune in, spiritually. This could be a friend’s weekend house by the beach (if you go, make sure you’ve got some time to get away by yourself), a yoga retreat, a nearby nature sanctuary or state park that permits camping or even a monastery or spiritual sanctuary.

By removing yourself from the hustle bustle of everyday life and going into a contemplative quiet place, you can really make the deep, life-altering decisions such times demand. I urge you to choose a place that is not only nurturing and soothing to your spirit, but one that allows you plenty of space, time and quiet to sort out your thoughts.

3. Write down what’s going on. Your journal could be your greatest ally in this process, if you make time to empty your brain of all those frightened, frustrated thoughts that are kicking around in there. There is nothing worse for the creative flow than ‘brain jam’, the condition where your thoughts become so intense that they clog up your ability to think rationally. Too much thinking can paralyze you from any kind of action, and so you miss the opportunity to move forward.

4. Get support. Just like an AA member contemplating going on a bender, you need to call your sponsor, mentor or coach and get help. This is precisely why you lined them up in the first place—so when the chips are down, they can talk you on to the next victory. If you feel squeamish about appearing in front of them in your most bedraggled state, remember that you would want your organization to come to you if they needed help this badly.

5. List the pros and cons. If none of the above seem to work, sit down with a piece of paper and evaluate the pros and cons of quitting your endeavor. Be brutally honest with yourself, and make sure each list is complete. Don’t leave a single pro or con unconsidered. Then walk away from your list. Take a look at it again in a few days, when you’ve had time for your thoughts to settle. Your perspective should be clearer and the answer obvious.

…….Remember NEVER Give up!!!
